At Kadampa Meditation Centre Glasgow, 78 Hutcheson Street, Glasgow, G1 1SH

Everyone is welcome. This course is segmented into sets of classes on a particular theme, following the chapters of ‘The New Meditation Handbook’ by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, but the classes themselves are designed to be self-contained so it is also possible to drop-in. The content of these classes is more in-depth than some of our other general programme classes.  It is not essential but you may find it helpful to read the introduction of the book to support you in your learning before attending the class.MembershipButton

Opening the Heart

June 5, 12, 19, 26

The stress and anxieties we encounter in our daily lives is blocking the real source of happiness. Buddha’s teachings show us how to clear obstacles to a flow of love from our heart that will bring joy and happiness to ourself and others.

These classes are based on the chapter on ‘Developing Equanimity’ in ‘The New Meditation Handbook’ by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso pg. 63-65.

These classes are based on the chapters on ‘Recognising All Living Beings are Our Mothers’ and ‘Remembering the Kindness of Living Beings’ in ‘The New Meditation Handbook’ by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso pg. 67-73.
